How to add more than one UPI ID

A free page holds one UPI ID. Premium holds several.

Why you would

  • A personal ID and a shop ID that need to stay apart.
  • Two banks, so that one app having a bad afternoon does not stop everything.
  • An ID for a specific collection.

Adding one

Settings, then Payments, then Add. Test each new one with a rupee the same way you tested the first. See Testing with one rupee.

Which one gets paid

One ID is the default and that is the one your page uses.

The important part: once a support has been started, the ID it was quoted is pinned to it. If you change your default while somebody is mid payment, their QR and their button still point at the account they were shown. Nobody ends up paying a different account from the one on their screen.

Counter codes and printed sheets always use the default, because a printed sheet is one static image and cannot take turns.

Rotation

There is a switch that spreads new supports across your active IDs instead of sending everything to the default. It is for somebody splitting income across accounts on purpose. Leave it off unless that is you.

If Premium lapses

Everything beyond the default is switched off rather than deleted. Your page falls back to the default ID and keeps working. Paying again turns them back on.
