How to set your name, photo and cover image

Last updated September 3, 2026

All three are in Settings under Profile.

Your name

Whatever you want to be called. It does not have to match your bank, and it is not the same as your page name, which is the part in the address.

It is also the name written into the UPI payment as the payee. Somebody paying you sees the name their own bank holds for your account, not this one, so the two being different is normal and is not a problem.

Your photo

Square works best, because it is drawn as a circle. Anything above 400 pixels across is enough.

When you pick a file, a crop box opens. Drag to move it and pinch or scroll to zoom. What is inside the box is what gets saved, so the original file is not kept and you cannot recrop it later without uploading again.

Your cover

The wide image behind the top of the page. It is cropped to a wide strip, so put nothing important near the top or bottom edge and nothing at all in the middle, where your photo sits over it.

File types and sizes

JPEG, PNG and WebP. HEIC, which is what an iPhone shoots by default, is not accepted: the crop tool cannot read it. Either export as JPEG from Photos, or turn on Most Compatible in your camera settings and shoot again.

Very large photographs are also refused, because they take longer to process than a page can wait. If you get that message, take a screenshot of the image and upload the screenshot.

Removing one

Each has a Remove button. Taking off your cover leaves the plain background, which is a real choice rather than a broken page.
